Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item or an appointed third party by yourself takes possession of the product, to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your product must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, you shall be responsible for posting the product. We cannot be responsible for any product that is lost or damaged in the return shipment. Products sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong items so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

In the case that your country's customs inspection has caused damage to the controller, we would encourage you to contact the relevant department and initiate a claim. Overdrive Arcade LTD is unable to make, maintain or amend a claim on your behalf.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom products (special orders or personalized items). 

We do not accept returns if the product has been customised, altered, clearly personalised to your specifications, or tampered with. We reserve the right to refuse a return of any product for any reason.

Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards, aside from our initial Overdrive - Midnight all-button controller launched on 7th August 2023.


European Union 14-day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.

We reserve the right to refuse a refund for any reason.

You’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days if approved. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Cancellations

The Overdrive controller is sold in batches to help reduce costs to you.

Cancellations can affect the minimum order quantity we must achieve to buy our parts and construct the controller.

Once we enter production we reserve the right to pause cancellations until production has been completed. It is your responsibility to contact us after production and before shipping to request a cancellation. Production updates are available on our Twitter and email list.

There will be a cancellation charge equivalent to the shipping fee paid. This will account for production fees.
